The Emmanuel Ivorgba Center is pleased to announce the addition of three dynamic interns to its team. These talented individuals bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a shared commitment to advancing peacebuilding and conflict resolution efforts. Their arrival marks an exciting chapter for the center as it continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact within local and global communities.
The new interns come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique skills in areas such as community engagement, research, policy analysis, and conflict mediation. Their participation will support the center’s ongoing projects, including grassroots initiatives, peace education programs, and policy advocacy efforts aimed at fostering sustainable peace and social cohesion. Throughout their internship, they will work closely with senior staff and partner organizations, gaining hands-on experience in project management, strategic planning, and community outreach. Moreover, their involvement will provide valuable opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and networking within the field of peace and conflict studies.

Celine Yang is a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington, pursuing a double major in International Studies and East Asian Languages and Cultures. She is also a dedicated member of the Chinese Flagship Program, where she serves as a Student Ambassador. Passionate about intercultural exchange, language learning, and global engagement, Celine brings a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and community building.
Daniel Winters is a senior at Indiana University – Bloomington, double

majoring in Informatics and East Asian Languages & Cultures. He is passionate about the intersection of technology and international relations, with a particular interest in promoting cross-cultural understanding and economic empowerment. On campus, Daniel performs with a student sketch comedy group and regularly attends Japanese conversation tables. He recently returned from studying abroad in Japan and brings a global perspective to his role as a Business Development Intern at the Emmanuel Ivorgba Center.

Louis Rohlfing is a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington, majoring in International Studies and Germanic Studies with a minor in Geography. He is interested in sustainable development in underserved regions in the climate and education sectors. Louis is very skilful with Microsoft Office and Excel; Adobe Suite and Photoshop; Canva; Google Workspace; German (intermediate level proficiency); ArcGIS (intermediate level proficiency); financial management; graphic design; video editing; social media management; customer service; event planning; communication and collaboration; problem-solving and critical thinking
