THE VOICE PROGRAM

THE VOICE Program is a vital initiative by The Emmanuel Ivorgba Center designed to empower young girls through education, mentorship, and life skills development. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by girls in underserved communities—such as limited access to quality education, early marriage, gender-based violence, and socio-cultural barriers—the program aims to create a safe, supportive environment where girls can realize their full potential and become agents of positive change. The primary objective of THE VOICE program is to foster confidence, resilience, and leadership among young girls. It seeks to provide them with the skills, knowledge, and support systems necessary to navigate societal challenges and pursue their aspirations. The program also emphasizes promoting gender equality, health awareness, and economic independence. Since its inception in 2014, THE VOICE program has positively impacted numerous young girls by increasing school attendance, reducing dropout rates, and nurturing leadership qualities. Participants have reported higher self-esteem, improved health awareness, and greater aspirations for their futures. The program also contributes to shifting community attitudes toward gender equality, paving the way for more inclusive development.
