The Emmanuel Ivorgba Center recently participated in the Nonprofit Capacity Development Training held from November 25-27, 2025, at the Fox Hotel in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. Organized by the Nigeria Network of NGOs in collaboration with the TY Danjuma Foundation, the training aimed to strengthen the skills and effectiveness of nonprofit organizations across Nigeria. Over three days, representatives from various NGOs gathered to enhance their knowledge in areas such as organizational management, fundraising, strategic planning, and governance.


Over the 3 days, Founders, Executives, Board Members, and Senior Managers engaged in practical learning experiences designed to equip them with the tools and frameworks needed to build stronger and more sustainable nonprofit organisations. With renewed knowledge, clearer structures, and strengthened capacity, participants return to their communities ready to drive deeper and more meaningful impact. The training emphasized the importance of building sustainable and impactful nonprofits that can address Nigeria’s social challenges more effectively. Participants engaged in interactive sessions, workshops, and group activities designed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. Experts and facilitators provided insights into best practices, innovative approaches, and the latest trends in nonprofit management.
